Military Residential Program Overview

New Life Treatment Center offers a "Sanctuary Model” that embraces a hybrid of both Trauma-Informed Care and Therapeutic community modalities of treatment. New Life Treatment Center provides medicated detoxification and residential level of care treatment for Active-Duty service members and veterans. We developed a specialized Armed Forces Treatment Initiative (AFTI) which serves active-duty members (deployed and non-deployed) working through a variety of complex issues such as:


  • Substance Abuse Disorders
  • PTSD (Combat-related, Military Sexual Trauma, Childhood Trauma, Domestic Violence)
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Acute Stress Disorder
  • Combat and Operational Stress
  • Mood Disorders

Program Highlights

  • In-Network Tri-Care West provider. We offer our services to active duty and Veterans.
  • Dedicated Doctorates level Psychologist to conduct individual therapy sessions, create an individualized Treatment Plan and inform the care of each active-duty member or Veteran we serve.
  • Group therapy dynamics targeting comorbid substance abuse issues, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, and hopelessness with Evidenced Based practices and curriculum.
  • We cater our Trauma-Informed care to heal and alleviate substance abuse allowing underlying issues of PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety to be addressed and mitigated.
  • Family Therapy & family sessions
  • Therapeutic Outings and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
  • Our Clinicians facilitate Individual Therapy multiple times per week which includes:
  • CBT Therapy, DBT Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
  • We understand that chain of command and chain of custody is of paramount importance. Our Sanctuary Model is not a locked door facility. We will utilize open lines of verbal and non-verbal communication to bring clarity to patient progress. We will work within the requested variables to supply progress reports, clinical documentation, and open dialogue as needed.
  • Adjunctive Therapies (expressive therapies)
  • Assessments: CSSRS, BDI, COWS, CIWAS, Psychiatric Evaluation.

Our customized treatment approach embraces evidenced-based practice and trauma-informed care coinciding with components of a therapeutic community to provide our “Sanctuary Model” to each man and woman that enters through our doors.
